Saturday, 1.17.09, my friend Sarah introduced me to encaustic painting. I finished this piece - a miracle in itself considering that wax and color were slipping all over! Such fun! Sarah was my music teacher in highschool, went on to become a lawyer, and then went back to get a masters in Art. She is an amazing woman - I'm blessed to know her and have her friendship. (Not much time for creating lately!!!!)
