Hello - My first month of "retirement" is almost gone. Traveling, recovering from a pollen attack, and adjusting to my new life has made the time fly. I'm working on a plan to participate in Hay Days at Utica, MT in September. There is much more to my plan, including cards and pottery, but here is Step 1. Have a blessed day!
Welcome to my art blog! Let me share my artistic endeavors from inspiration through results. Let me encourage you to enjoy creative processes. This site is for you!

Experimenting...
One of my many goals is to incorporate native clay into my pottery pieces. This photo shows the first test for a certain variety of Yogo clay from the Little Belt Mountains. If it works as I am hoping, it will produce a versatile, rich brown slip when fired to cone 5-6. The test looks extremely promising!

No fooling, what a great day for a change!
While thankful for past experiences, I am
ready to move on! Today is the day for a
new beginning! Looking back at these pieces only makes me want to paint more and make more pottery!! May Frank find things to
do so I won’t drive him crazy!
