Sharing my "Creation Series" - at the Rising Trout in Lewistown MT

What if we were able to see creation as it happened?  That question played directly into the following series (a total of 9 pieces).  The process can be tricky and difficult, but I love the more spontaneous it is.  I hope you enjoy, and encourage you to stop by the Rising Trout for your favorite coffee.  This art will be up for about six weeks.
Thanks to Brandon and Mariah O'Halloran, and Sally Huber for the suggestion!)

Would we see light bursting through darkness?

Would landscapes form before our very eyes?

Would prehistoric animals emerge on the edge of an abyss?

Night as seen from above?

Would the sea be filled with life?

Would water gush from rocks?
And when man enters, what would he add … or subtract?

Kiln Opening this morning - enjoying the surprises and imperfections -

Monday, June 3, 2013

It is a rainy day, so time for blogging.  We're waiting for the kiln to cool (slowly) enough to open and pull out another batch of new pieces!   My oldest granddaughter, Lily, enjoyed spending some time in the studio.  Her sister, Ella, painted a cup for her Dad ... a bit more challenging for a 2 year old, but she did it!  We have been having so much fun here!
Here's inspiration to make tea cups!
