I purchased an old pottery wheel! After giving pottery a try, I realize that I will never really know where the process will take me until I spend more time doing it. A good friend is going to rebuild it for me, because it is old...about as old as I am(:

Handling clay, making pottery...it all reminds me of God being the potter and me, the clay. I love the way I can become absorbed in trying to make the clay move into the shape it was meant to be...much like what God faithfully continues to do with me.

The photo is some of my very first tries at pottery...and any good potter would tell you they probably were not worth firing in the first place...but I couldn't bear to let them go!
